* And Jesus went out (5631 ), and departed (5711 ) from the temple : and his disciples came (5656 ) to him for to shew (5658 ) him the buildings of the temple . * And Jesus said (5627 ) unto them , See ye (5719 ) not all these things ? verily I say (5719 ) unto you , There shall not be left (5686 ) here one stone upon another , that shall not be thrown down (5701 ). * And as he sat (5740 ) upon the mount of Olives , the disciples came (5656 ) unto him privately , saying (5723 ), Tell (5628 ) us , when shall these things be (5704 )? and what shall be the sign of thy coming , and of the end of the world ? * And Jesus answered (5679 ) and said (5627 ) unto them , Take heed (5720 ) that no man deceive (5661 ) you . * For many shall come (5695 ) in my name , saying (5723 ), I am (5748 ) Christ ; and shall deceive (5692 ) many . * And ye shall (5692 ) hear (5721 ) of wars and rumours of wars : see (5720 ) that ye be not troubled (5744 ): for all these things must (5748 ) come to pass (5635 ), but the end is (5748 ) not yet . * For nation shall rise (5701 ) against nation , and kingdom against kingdom : and there shall be (5704 ) famines , and pestilences , and earthquakes , in divers places . * All these are the beginning of sorrows . * Then shall they deliver you up (5692 ) to be afflicted , and shall kill (5692 ) you : and ye shall be (5704 ) hated (5746 ) of all nations for my names sake . * And then shall many be offended (5701 ), and shall betray (5692 ) one another , and shall hate (5692 ) one another . * And many false prophets shall rise (5701 ), and shall deceive (5692 ) many . * And because iniquity shall abound (5683 ), the love of many shall wax cold (5691 ). * But he that shall endure (5660 ) unto the end , the same shall be saved (5701 ). * And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached (5701 ) in all the world for a witness unto all nations ; and then shall the end come (5692 ). * When ye therefore shall see (5632 ) the abomination of desolation , spoken of (5685 ) by Daniel the prophet , stand (5756 ) (5625 ) (5761 ) in the holy place , (whoso readeth (5723 ), let him understand (5720 ):) * Then let them which be in Judaea flee (5720 ) into the mountains : * Let him which is on the housetop not come down (5720 ) to take (5658 ) any thing out of his house : * Neither let him which is in the field return (5657 ) back to take (5658 ) his clothes . * And woe unto them that are (5723 ) with child , and to them that give suck (5723 ) in those days ! * But pray ye (5737 ) that your flight be (5638 ) not in the winter , neither on the sabbath day : * For then shall be (5704 ) great tribulation , such as was (5754 ) not since the beginning of the world to this time , no , nor ever shall be (5638 ). * And except those days should be shortened (5681 ), there should no flesh be saved (5681 ): but for the elects sake those days shall be shortened (5701 ). * Then if any man shall say (5632 ) unto you , Lo (5628 ), here is Christ , or there ; believe (5661 ) it not . * For there shall arise (5701 ) false Christs , and false prophets , and shall shew (5692 ) great signs and wonders ; insomuch that , if it were possible , they shall deceive (5658 ) the very elect . * Behold (5628 ), I have told you before (5758 ). * Wherefore if they shall say (5632 ) unto you , Behold (5628 ), he is (5748 ) in the desert ; go not forth (5632 ): behold (5628 ), he is in the secret chambers ; believe (5661 ) it not . * For as the lightning cometh (5736 ) out of the east , and shineth (5727 ) even unto the west ; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be (5704 ). * For wheresoever the carcase is (5753 ), there will the eagles be gathered together (5701 ). * Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened (5701 ), and the moon shall not give (5692 ) her light , and the stars shall fall (5699 ) from heaven , and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken (5701 ): * And then shall appear (5691 ) the sign of the Son of man in heaven : and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn (5695 ), and they shall see (5695 ) the Son of man coming (5740 ) in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory . * And he shall send (5692 ) his angels with a great sound of a trumpet , and they shall gather together (5692 ) his elect from the four winds , from one end of heaven to the other . * Now learn (5628 ) a parable of the fig tree ; When his branch is (5638 ) yet tender , and putteth forth (5725 ) leaves , ye know (5719 ) that summer is nigh : * So likewise ye , when ye shall see (5632 ) all these things , know (5719 ) that it is (5748 ) near , even at the doors . * Verily I say (5719 ) unto you , This generation shall not pass (5632 ), till all these things be fulfilled (5638 ). * Heaven and earth shall pass away (5695 ), but my words shall not pass away (5632 ). * But of that day and hour knoweth (5758 ) no man , no , not the angels of heaven , but my Father only . * But as the days of Noe were , so shall also the coming of the Son of man be (5704 ). * For as in the days that were (5713 ) before the flood they were eating (5723 ) and drinking (5723 ), marrying (5723 ) and giving in marriage (5723 ), until the day that Noe entered (5627 ) into the ark , * And knew (5627 ) not until the flood came (5627 ), and took them all away (5656 ); so shall also the coming of the Son of man be (5704 ). * Then shall two be (5704 ) in the field ; the one shall be taken (5743 ), and the other left (5743 ). * Two women shall be grinding (5723 ) at the mill ; the one shall be taken (5743 ), and the other left (5743 ). * Watch (5720 ) therefore : for ye know (5758 ) not what hour your Lord doth come (5736 ). * But know (5719 ) this , that if the goodman of the house had known (5715 ) in what watch the thief would come (5736 ), he would have watched (5656 ), and would not have suffered (5656 ) his house to be broken up (5650 ). * Therefore be (5737 ) ye also ready : for in such an hour as ye think (5719 ) not the Son of man cometh (5736 ). * Who then is (5748 ) a faithful and wise servant , whom his lord hath made ruler (5656 ) over his household , to give (5721 ) them meat in due season ? * Blessed is that servant , whom his lord when he cometh (5631 ) shall find (5692 ) so doing (5723 ). * Verily I say (5719 ) unto you , That he shall make him ruler (5692 ) over all his goods (5723 ). * But and if that evil servant shall say (5632 ) in his heart , My lord delayeth (5719 ) his coming (5629 ); * And shall begin (5672 ) to smite (5721 ) his fellowservants , and to eat (5721 ) and drink (5721 ) with the drunken (5723 ); * The lord of that servant shall come (5692 ) in a day when he looketh (5719 ) not for him , and in an hour that he is not aware of (5719 ), * And shall cut him asunder (5692 ), and appoint (5692 ) him his portion with the hypocrites : there shall be (5704 ) weeping and gnashing of teeth .
