* They that were foolish took (5631 ) their lamps , and took (5627 ) no oil with them : * But the wise took (5627 ) oil in their vessels with their lamps . * While the bridegroom tarried (5723 ), they all slumbered (5656 ) and slept (5707 ). * And at midnight there was a cry made (5754 ), Behold (5628 ), the bridegroom cometh (5736 ); go ye out (5737 ) to meet him . * Then all those virgins arose (5681 ), and trimmed (5656 ) their lamps . * And the foolish said (5627 ) unto the wise , Give (5628 ) us of your oil ; for our lamps are gone out (5743 ). * But the wise answered (5662 ), saying (5723 ), Not so ; lest there be not enough (5661 ) for us and you : but go ye (5737 ) rather to them that sell (5723 ), and buy (5657 ) for yourselves . * And while they went (5740 ) to buy (5658 ), the bridegroom came (5627 ); and they that were ready went in (5627 ) with him to the marriage : and the door was shut (5681 ).
