* Ye have heard (5656 ) that it hath been said (5681 ), An eye for an eye , and a tooth for a tooth : * But I say (5719 ) unto you , That ye resist (5629 ) not evil : but whosoever shall smite (5692 ) thee on thy right cheek , turn (5657 ) to him the other also . * And if any man will (5723 ) sue thee at the law (5683 ), and take away (5629 ) thy coat , let him have (5628 ) thy cloke also .
