* And I heard (5656 ) a voice from heaven saying (5723 ) unto me , Write (5657 ), Blessed are the dead which die (5723 ) in the Lord from henceforth : Yea , saith (5719 ) the Spirit , that they may rest (5672 ) from their labours ; and their works do follow (5719 ) them . * And I looked (5627 ), and behold (5628 ) a white cloud , and upon the cloud one sat (5740 ) like unto the Son of man , having (5723 ) on his head a golden crown , and in his hand a sharp sickle . * And another angel came (5627 ) out of the temple , crying (5723 ) with a loud voice to him that sat (5740 ) on the cloud , Thrust in (5657 ) thy sickle , and reap (5657 ): for the time is come (5627 ) for thee to reap (5658 ); for the harvest of the earth is ripe (5681 ). * And he that sat (5740 ) on the cloud thrust in (5627 ) his sickle on the earth ; and the earth was reaped (5681 ). * And another angel came (5627 ) out of the temple which is in heaven , he also having (5723 ) a sharp sickle .
