* He that hath (5723 ) an ear , let him hear (5657 ) what the Spirit saith (5719 ) unto the churches ; To him that overcometh (5723 ) will I give (5692 ) to eat (5629 ) of the tree of life , which is (5748 ) in the midst of the paradise of God . * And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write (5657 ); These things saith (5719 ) the first and the last , which was (5633 ) dead , and is alive (5656 ); * I know (5758 ) thy works , and tribulation , and poverty , (but thou art (5748 ) rich ) and I know the blasphemy of them which say (5723 ) they are (5750 ) Jews , and are (5748 ) not , but are the synagogue of Satan . * Fear (5737 ) none of those things which thou shalt (5719 ) suffer (5721 ): behold (5628 ), the devil shall (5719 ) cast (5629 ) some of you into prison , that ye may be tried (5686 ); and ye shall have (5692 ) tribulation ten days : be thou (5737 ) faithful unto death , and I will give (5692 ) thee a crown of life . * He that hath (5723 ) an ear , let him hear (5657 ) what the Spirit saith (5719 ) unto the churches ; and all the churches shall know (5695 ) that I am (5748 ) he which searcheth (5723 ) the reins and hearts : and I will give (5692 ) unto every one of you according to your works . * But unto you I say (5719 ), and unto the rest in Thyatira , as many as have (5719 ) not this doctrine , and which have not known (5627 ) the depths of Satan , as they speak (5719 ); I will put (5692 ) upon you none other burden . * But that which ye have (5719 ) already hold fast (5657 ) till I come (5661 ). * And he that overcometh (5723 ), and keepeth (5723 ) my works unto the end , to him will I give (5692 ) power over the nations : * And he shall rule (5692 ) them with a rod of iron ; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers (5743 ): even as I received (5758 ) of my Father . * And I will give (5692 ) him the morning star . * He that hath (5723 ) an ear , let him hear (5657 ) what the Spirit saith (5719 ) unto the churches . * And I saw (5627 ) an angel come down (5723 ) from heaven , having (5723 ) the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand . * And he laid hold on (5656 ) the dragon , that old serpent , which is (5748 ) the Devil , and Satan , and bound (5656 ) him a thousand years , * And cast (5627 ) him into the bottomless pit , and shut him up (5656 ), and set a seal (5656 ) upon him , that he should deceive (5661 ) the nations no more , till the thousand years should be fulfilled (5686 ): and after that he must (5748 ) be loosed (5683 ) a little season . * And I saw (5627 ) thrones , and they sat (5656 ) upon them , and judgment was given (5681 ) unto them : and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded (5772 ) for the witness of Jesus , and for the word of God , and which had not worshipped (5656 ) the beast , neither his image , neither had received (5627 ) his mark upon their foreheads , or in their hands ; This is the first resurrection . * Blessed and holy is he that hath (5723 ) part in the first resurrection : on such the second death hath (5719 ) no power , but they shall be (5704 ) priests of God and of Christ , and shall reign (5692 ) with him a thousand years . * And when the thousand years are expired (5686 ), Satan shall be loosed (5701 ) out of his prison , * And shall go out (5695 ) to deceive (5658 ) the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth , Gog and Magog , to gather them together (5629 ) to battle : the number of whom is as the sand of the sea . * And they went up (5627 ) on the breadth of the earth , and compassed the camp of the saints about (5656 ), and the beloved (5772 ) city : and fire came down (5627 ) from God out of heaven , and devoured (5627 ) them . * And the devil that deceived (5723 ) them was cast (5681 ) into the lake of fire and brimstone , where the beast and the false prophet are , and shall be tormented (5701 ) day and night for ever and ever . * And I saw (5627 ) a great white throne , and him that sat (5740 ) on it , from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away (5627 ); and there was found (5681 ) no place for them . * And I saw (5627 ) the dead , small and great , stand (5761 ) before God ; and the books were opened (5681 ): and another book was opened (5681 ), which is (5748 ) the book of life : and the dead were judged (5681 ) out of those things which were written (5772 ) in the books , according to their works . * And the sea gave up (5656 ) the dead which were in it ; and death and hell delivered up (5656 ) the dead which were in them : and they were judged (5681 ) every man according to their works . * And death and hell were cast (5681 ) into the lake of fire . This is (5748 ) the second death . * And whosoever was not found (5681 ) written (5772 ) in the book of life was cast (5681 ) into the lake of fire . * And I saw (5627 ) a new heaven and a new earth : for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away (5627 ); and there was (5748 ) no more sea . * And I John saw (5627 ) the holy city , new Jerusalem , coming down (5723 ) from God out of heaven , prepared (5772 ) as a bride adorned (5772 ) for her husband . * And I heard (5656 ) a great voice out of heaven saying (5723 ), Behold (5628 ), the tabernacle of God is with men , and he will dwell (5692 ) with them , and they shall be (5704 ) his people , and God himself shall be (5704 ) with them , and be their God . * And God shall wipe away (5692 ) all tears from their eyes ; and there shall be (5704 ) no more death , neither sorrow , nor crying , neither shall there be (5704 ) any more pain : for the former things are passed away (5627 ). * And he that sat (5740 ) upon the throne said (5627 ), Behold (5628 ), I make (5719 ) all things new . And he said (5719 ) unto me , Write (5657 ): for these words are (5748 ) true and faithful . * And he said (5627 ) unto me , It is done (5754 ). I am (5748 ) Alpha and Omega , the beginning and the end . I will give (5692 ) unto him that is athirst (5723 ) of the fountain of the water of life freely . * He that overcometh (5723 ) shall inherit (5692 ) all things ; and I will be (5704 ) his God , and he shall be (5704 ) my son . * But the fearful , and unbelieving , and the abominable (5772 ), and murderers , and whoremongers , and sorcerers , and idolaters , and all liars , shall have their part in the lake which burneth (5746 ) with fire and brimstone : which is (5748 ) the second death . * And there came (5627 ) unto me one of the seven angels which had (5723 ) the seven vials full (5723 ) of the seven last plagues , and talked (5656 ) with me , saying (5723 ), Come hither (5773 ), I will shew (5692 ) thee the bride , the Lambs wife . * And he carried me away (5656 ) in the spirit to a great and high mountain , and shewed (5656 ) me that great city , the holy Jerusalem , descending (5723 ) out of heaven from God , * Having (5723 ) the glory of God : and her light was like unto a stone most precious , even like a jasper stone , clear as crystal (5723 ); * And had (5723 ) a wall great and high , and had (5723 ) twelve gates , and at the gates twelve angels , and names written thereon (5772 ), which are (5748 ) the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel : * On the east three gates ; on the north three gates ; on the south three gates ; and on the west three gates . * And the wall of the city had (5723 ) twelve foundations , and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb . * And he that talked (5723 ) with me had (5707 ) a golden reed to measure (5661 ) the city , and the gates thereof , and the wall thereof . * And the city lieth (5736 ) foursquare , and the length is (5748 ) as large as the breadth : and he measured (5656 ) the city with the reed , twelve thousand furlongs . The length and the breadth and the height of it are (5748 ) equal . * And he measured (5656 ) the wall thereof , an hundred and forty and four cubits , according to the measure of a man , that is (5748 ), of the angel . * And the building of the wall of it was (5713 ) of jasper : and the city was pure gold , like unto clear glass . * And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with (5772 ) all manner of precious stones . The first foundation was jasper ; the second , sapphire ; the third , a chalcedony ; the fourth , an emerald ; * The fifth , sardonyx ; the sixth , sardius ; the seventh , chrysolite ; the eighth , beryl ; the ninth , a topaz ; the tenth , a chrysoprasus ; the eleventh , a jacinth ; the twelfth , an amethyst . * And the twelve gates were twelve pearls ; every several gate was (5713 ) of one pearl : and the street of the city was pure gold , as it were transparent glass . * And I saw (5627 ) no temple therein : for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are (5748 ) the temple of it . * And the city had (5719 ) no need of the sun , neither of the moon , to shine (5725 ) in it : for the glory of God did lighten (5656 ) it , and the Lamb is the light thereof . * And the nations of them which are saved (5746 ) shall walk (5692 ) in the light of it : and the kings of the earth do bring (5719 ) their glory and honour into it . * And the gates of it shall not be shut (5686 ) at all by day : for there shall be (5704 ) no night there . * And they shall bring (5692 ) the glory and honour of the nations into it . * And there shall in no wise enter (5632 ) into it any thing that defileth (5723 ), neither whatsoever worketh (5723 ) abomination , or maketh a lie : but they which are written (5772 ) in the Lambs book of life . * And he shewed (5656 ) me a pure river of water of life , clear as crystal , proceeding (5740 ) out of the throne of God and of the Lamb . * In the midst of the street of it , and on either side of the river , was there the tree of life , which bare (5723 ) twelve manner of fruits , and yielded (5723 ) her fruit every month : and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations . * And there shall be (5704 ) no more curse : but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be (5704 ) in it ; and his servants shall serve (5692 ) him : * And they shall see (5695 ) his face ; and his name shall be in their foreheads . * And there shall be (5704 ) no night there ; and they need no candle (5719 ), neither light of the sun ; for the Lord God giveth them light (5719 ): and they shall reign (5692 ) for ever and ever . * And he said (5627 ) unto me , These sayings are faithful and true : and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent (5656 ) his angel to shew (5658 ) unto his servants the things which must (5748 ) shortly be done (5635 ). * Behold (5628 ), I come (5736 ) quickly : blessed is he that keepeth (5723 ) the sayings of the prophecy of this book . * And I John saw (5723 ) these things , and heard (5723 ) them . And when I had heard (5656 ) and seen (5656 ), I fell down (5627 ) to worship (5658 ) before the feet of the angel which shewed (5723 ) me these things . * Then saith he (5719 ) unto me , See (5720 ) thou do it not : for I am (5748 ) thy fellowservant , and of thy brethren the prophets , and of them which keep (5723 ) the sayings of this book : worship (5657 ) God . * And he saith (5719 ) unto me , Seal (5661 ) not the sayings of the prophecy of this book : for the time is (5748 ) at hand . * He that is unjust (5723 ), let him be unjust (5657 ) still : and he which is filthy (5723 ), let him be filthy (5657 ) still : and he that is righteous , let him be righteous (5682 ) still : and he that is holy , let him be holy (5682 ) still . * And , behold (5628 ), I come (5736 ) quickly ; and my reward is with me , to give (5629 ) every man according as his work shall be (5704 ). * I am (5748 ) Alpha and Omega , the beginning and the end , the first and the last . * Blessed are they that do (5723 ) his commandments , that they may have (5704 ) right to the tree of life , and may enter (5632 ) in through the gates into the city . * For without are dogs , and sorcerers , and whoremongers , and murderers , and idolaters , and whosoever loveth (5723 ) and maketh (5723 ) a lie . * I Jesus have sent (5656 ) mine angel to testify (5658 ) unto you these things in the churches . I am (5748 ) the root and the offspring of David , and the bright and morning star . * And the Spirit and the bride say (5719 ), Come (5628 ). And let him that heareth (5723 ) say (5628 ), Come (5628 ). And let him that is athirst (5723 ) come (5628 ). And whosoever will (5723 ), let him take (5720 ) the water of life freely . * For I testify (5736 ) unto every man that heareth (5723 ) the words of the prophecy of this book , If any man shall add (5725 ) unto these things , God shall add (5692 ) unto him the plagues that are written (5772 ) in this book : * And if any man shall take away (5725 ) from the words of the book of this prophecy , God shall take away (5692 ) his part out of the book of life , and out of the holy city , and from the things which are written (5772 ) in this book . * He which testifieth (5723 ) these things saith (5719 ), Surely I come (5736 ) quickly . Amen . Even so , come (5736 ), Lord Jesus . * The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all . Amen .
