* And when he had opened (5656 ) the seventh seal , there was (5633 ) silence in heaven about the space of half an hour . * And I saw (5627 ) the seven angels which stood (5758 ) before God ; and to them were given (5681 ) seven trumpets . * And another angel came (5627 ) and stood (5681 ) at the altar , having (5723 ) a golden censer ; and there was given (5681 ) unto him much incense , that he should offer (5661 ) it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne . * And the smoke of the incense , which came with the prayers of the saints , ascended up (5627 ) before God out of the angels hand . * And the angel took (5758 ) the censer , and filled (5656 ) it with fire of the altar , and cast (5627 ) it into the earth : and there were (5633 ) voices , and thunderings , and lightnings , and an earthquake . * And the seven angels which had (5723 ) the seven trumpets prepared (5656 ) themselves to sound (5661 ). * The first angel sounded (5656 ), and there followed (5633 ) hail and fire mingled (5772 ) with blood , and they were cast (5681 ) upon the earth : and the third part of trees was burnt up (5648 ), and all green grass was burnt up (5648 ). * And the second angel sounded (5656 ), and as it were a great mountain burning (5746 ) with fire was cast (5681 ) into the sea : and the third part of the sea became (5633 ) blood ; * And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea , and had (5723 ) life , died (5627 ); and the third part of the ships were destroyed (5648 ). * And the third angel sounded (5656 ), and there fell (5627 ) a great star from heaven , burning (5746 ) as it were a lamp , and it fell (5627 ) upon the third part of the rivers , and upon the fountains of waters ; * And the name of the star is called (5743 ) Wormwood : and the third part of the waters became (5736 ) wormwood ; and many men died (5627 ) of the waters , because they were made bitter (5681 ). * And the fourth angel sounded (5656 ), and the third part of the sun was smitten (5648 ), and the third part of the moon , and the third part of the stars ; so as the third part of them was darkened (5686 ), and the day shone (5725 ) not for a third part of it , and the night likewise . * And I beheld (5627 ), and heard (5656 ) an angel flying (5740 ) through the midst of heaven , saying (5723 ) with a loud voice , Woe , woe , woe , to the inhabiters (5723 ) of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels , which are yet (5723 ) to sound (5721 )!
