* We then that are strong ought (5719 ) to bear (5721 ) the infirmities of the weak , and not to please (5721 ) ourselves . * Let every one of us please (5720 ) his neighbour for his good to edification . * For even Christ pleased (5656 ) not himself ; but , as it is written (5769 ), The reproaches of them that reproached (5723 ) thee fell (5627 ) on me . * For whatsoever things were written aforetime (5648 ) were written (5648 ) for our learning , that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have (5725 ) hope . * Now the God of patience and consolation grant (5630 ) you to be likeminded (5721 ) one toward another according to Christ Jesus : * That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify (5725 ) God , even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ . * Wherefore receive ye (5732 ) one another , as # Christ also received (5639 ) us to the glory of God . * Now I say (5719 ) that Jesus Christ was (5771 ) a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God , to confirm (5658 ) the promises made unto the fathers : * And that the Gentiles might glorify (5658 ) God for his mercy ; as it is written (5769 ), For this cause I will confess (5698 ) to thee among the Gentiles , and sing (5692 ) unto thy name . * And again he saith (5719 ), Rejoice , ye (5682 ) Gentiles , with his people . * And again , Praise the Lord , all ye (5720 ) Gentiles ; and laud (5657 ) him , all ye people . * And again , Esaias saith (5719 ), There shall be (5704 ) a root of Jesse , and he that shall rise (5734 ) to reign over (5721 ) the Gentiles ; in him shall the Gentiles trust (5692 ). * Now the God of hope fill (5659 ) you with all joy and peace in believing (5721 ), that ye may abound (5721 ) in hope , through the power of the Holy Ghost . * And I myself also am persuaded (5769 ) of you , my brethren , that ye also are (5748 ) full of goodness , filled (5772 ) with all knowledge , able (5740 ) also to admonish (5721 ) one another . * Nevertheless , brethren , I have written (5656 ) the more boldly unto you in some sort , as putting you in mind (5723 ), because of the grace that is given (5685 ) to me of God , * That I should be (5750 ) the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles , ministering (5723 ) the gospel of God , that the offering up of the Gentiles might be (5638 ) acceptable , being sanctified (5772 ) by the Holy Ghost . * I have (5719 ) therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God . * For I will not dare (5692 ) to speak (5721 ) of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought (5662 ) by me , to make the Gentiles obedient , by word and deed , * Through mighty signs and wonders , by the power of the Spirit of God ; so that from Jerusalem , and round about unto Illyricum , I have fully preached (5760 ) the gospel of Christ . * Yea , so have I strived (5740 ) to preach the gospel (5733 ), not where Christ was named (5681 ), lest I should build (5725 ) upon another mans foundation : * But as it is written (5769 ), To whom he was not spoken (5648 ) of , they shall see (5695 ): and they that have not heard (5754 ) shall understand (5704 ). * For which cause also I have been much hindered (5712 ) from coming (5629 ) to you . * But now having (5723 ) no more place in these parts , and having (5723 ) a great desire these many years to come (5629 ) unto you ; * Whensoever I take my journey (5741 ) into Spain , I will come (5695 ) to you : for I trust (5719 ) to see (5664 ) you in my journey (5740 ), and to be brought on my way (5683 ) thitherward by you , if first I be somewhat filled (5686 ) with your company . * But now I go (5736 ) unto Jerusalem to minister (5723 ) unto the saints . * For it hath pleased them (5656 ) of Macedonia and Achaia to make (5670 ) a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem . * It hath pleased them (5656 ) verily ; and their debtors they are (5748 ). For if the Gentiles have been made partakers (5656 ) of their spiritual things , their duty is (5719 ) also to minister (5658 ) unto them in carnal things . * When therefore I have performed (5660 ) this , and have sealed (5671 ) to them this fruit , I will come (5695 ) by you into Spain . * And I am sure (5758 ) that , when I come (5740 ) unto you , I shall come (5695 ) in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ . * Now I beseech (5719 ) you , brethren , for the Lord Jesus Christs sake , and for the love of the Spirit , that ye strive together (5664 ) with me in your prayers to God for me ; * That I may be delivered (5686 ) from them that do not believe (5723 ) in Judaea ; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be (5638 ) accepted of the saints ; * That I may come (5632 ) unto you with joy by the will of God , and may with you be refreshed (5667 ). * Now the God of peace be with you all . Amen .
