* For whatsoever things were written aforetime (5648 ) were written (5648 ) for our learning , that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have (5725 ) hope . * Now the God of patience and consolation grant (5630 ) you to be likeminded (5721 ) one toward another according to Christ Jesus : * That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify (5725 ) God , even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ . * Wherefore receive ye (5732 ) one another , as # Christ also received (5639 ) us to the glory of God . * Now I say (5719 ) that Jesus Christ was (5771 ) a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God , to confirm (5658 ) the promises made unto the fathers : * And that the Gentiles might glorify (5658 ) God for his mercy ; as it is written (5769 ), For this cause I will confess (5698 ) to thee among the Gentiles , and sing (5692 ) unto thy name . * And again he saith (5719 ), Rejoice , ye (5682 ) Gentiles , with his people . * And again , Praise the Lord , all ye (5720 ) Gentiles ; and laud (5657 ) him , all ye people . * And again , Esaias saith (5719 ), There shall be (5704 ) a root of Jesse , and he that shall rise (5734 ) to reign over (5721 ) the Gentiles ; in him shall the Gentiles trust (5692 ). * Now the God of hope fill (5659 ) you with all joy and peace in believing (5721 ), that ye may abound (5721 ) in hope , through the power of the Holy Ghost .
