* Therefore it is of faith , that it might be by grace ; to the end the promise might be (5750 ) sure to all the seed ; not to that only which is of the law , but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham ; who is (5748 ) the father of us all , * (As it is written (5769 ), I have made (5758 ) thee a father of many nations ,) before him whom he believed (5656 ), even God , who quickeneth (5723 ) the dead , and calleth (5723 ) those things which be (5752 ) not as though they were (5752 ). * Who against hope believed (5656 ) in hope , that he might become (5635 ) the father of many nations , according to that which was spoken (5772 ), So shall thy seed be (5704 ).
