* And not as it was by one that sinned (5660 ), so is the gift : for the judgment was by one to condemnation , but the free gift is of many offences unto justification . * For if by one mans offence death reigned (5656 ) by one ; much more they which receive (5723 ) abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign (5692 ) in life by one , Jesus Christ .) * Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation ; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life . * For as by one mans disobedience many were made (5681 ) sinners , so by the obedience of one shall many be made (5701 ) righteous . * Moreover the law entered (5627 ), that the offence might abound (5661 ). But where sin abounded (5656 ), grace did much more abound (5656 ): * That as sin hath reigned (5656 ) unto death , even so might grace reign (5661 ) through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord .
