* For when we were (5752 ) yet without strength , in due time Christ died (5627 ) for the ungodly . * For scarcely for a righteous man will one die (5695 ): yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare (5719 ) to die (5629 ). * But God commendeth (5719 ) his love toward us , in that , while we were (5752 ) yet sinners , Christ died (5627 ) for us . * Much more then , being now justified (5685 ) by his blood , we shall be saved (5701 ) from wrath through him . * For if , when we were (5752 ) enemies , we were reconciled (5648 ) to God by the death of his Son , much more , being reconciled (5651 ), we shall be saved (5701 ) by his life . * And not only so , but we also joy (5740 ) in God through our Lord Jesus Christ , by whom we have now received (5627 ) the atonement .
