* There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus , who walk (5723 ) not after the flesh , but after the Spirit . * For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free (5656 ) from the law of sin and death . * For what the law could not do , in that it was weak (5707 ) through the flesh , God sending (5660 ) his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh , and for sin , condemned (5656 ) sin in the flesh : * That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled (5686 ) in us , who walk (5723 ) not after the flesh , but after the Spirit . * For they that are (5752 ) after the flesh do mind (5719 ) the things of the flesh ; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit . * For to be carnally minded is death ; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace . * Because the carnal mind is enmity against God : for it is not subject (5743 ) to the law of God , neither indeed can be (5736 ). * So then they that are (5752 ) in the flesh cannot (5736 ) please (5658 ) God . * But ye are (5748 ) not in the flesh , but in the Spirit , if so be that the Spirit of God dwell (5719 ) in you . Now if any man have (5719 ) not the Spirit of Christ , he is (5748 ) none of his . * And if Christ be in you , the body is dead because of sin ; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness . * But if the Spirit of him that raised up (5660 ) Jesus from the dead dwell (5719 ) in you , he that raised up (5660 ) Christ from the dead shall also quicken (5692 ) your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth (5723 ) (5625 ) (5723 ) in you . * Therefore , brethren , we are (5748 ) debtors , not to the flesh , to live (5721 ) after the flesh . * For if ye live (5719 ) after the flesh , ye shall (5719 ) die (5721 ): but if ye through the Spirit do mortify (5719 ) the deeds of the body , ye shall live (5695 ). * For as many as are led (5743 ) by the Spirit of God , they are (5748 ) the sons of God . * For ye have not received (5627 ) the spirit of bondage again to fear ; but ye have received (5627 ) the Spirit of adoption , whereby we cry (5719 ), Abba , Father . * The Spirit itself beareth witness (5719 ) with our spirit , that we are (5748 ) the children of God : * And if children , then heirs ; heirs of God , and joint-heirs with Christ ; if so be that we suffer with (5719 ) him , that we may be also glorified together (5686 ). * For I reckon (5736 ) that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall (5723 ) be revealed (5683 ) in us . * For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth (5736 ) for the manifestation of the sons of God . * For the creature was made subject (5648 ) to vanity , not willingly , but by reason of him who hath subjected (5660 ) the same in hope , * Because the creature itself also shall be delivered (5701 ) from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God . * For we know (5758 ) that the whole creation groaneth (5719 ) and travaileth in pain together (5719 ) until now . * And not only they , but ourselves also , which have (5723 ) the firstfruits of the Spirit , even we ourselves groan (5719 ) within ourselves , waiting (5740 ) for the adoption , to wit , the redemption of our body . * For we are saved (5681 ) by hope : but hope that is seen (5746 ) is (5748 ) not hope : for what a man seeth (5719 ), why doth he yet hope for (5719 )? * But if we hope (5719 ) for that we see (5719 ) not , then do we with patience wait for (5736 ) it . * Likewise the Spirit also helpeth (5736 ) our infirmities : for we know (5758 ) not what we should pray for (5667 ) as we ought (5748 ): but the Spirit itself maketh intercession (5719 ) for us with groanings which cannot be uttered . * And he that searcheth (5723 ) the hearts knoweth (5758 ) what is the mind of the Spirit , because he maketh intercession (5719 ) for the saints according to the will of God . * And we know (5758 ) that all things work together (5719 ) for good to them that love (5723 ) God , to them who are (5752 ) the called according to his purpose . * For whom he did foreknow (5656 ), he also did predestinate (5656 ) to be conformed to the image of his Son , that he might be (5750 ) the firstborn among many brethren . * Moreover whom he did predestinate (5656 ), them he also called (5656 ): and whom he called (5656 ), them he also justified (5656 ): and whom he justified (5656 ), them he also glorified (5656 ). * What shall we then say (5692 ) to these things ? If God be for us , who can be against us ? * He that spared (5662 ) not his own Son , but delivered him up (5656 ) for us all , how shall he not with him also freely give (5695 ) us all things ? * Who shall lay any thing (5692 ) to the charge of Gods elect ? It is God that justifieth (5723 ). * Who is he that condemneth (5723 ) (5694 )? It is Christ that died (5631 ), yea rather , that is risen again (5685 ), who is (5748 ) even at the right hand of God , who also maketh intercession (5719 ) for us . * Who shall separate (5692 ) us from the love of Christ ? shall tribulation , or distress , or persecution , or famine , or nakedness , or peril , or sword ? * As it is written (5769 ), For thy sake we are killed (5743 ) all the day long ; we are accounted (5681 ) as sheep for the slaughter . * Nay , in all these things we are more than conquerors (5719 ) through him that loved (5660 ) us . * For I am persuaded (5769 ), that neither death , nor life , nor angels , nor principalities , nor powers , nor things present (5761 ), nor things to come (5723 ), * Nor height , nor depth , nor any other creature , shall be able (5695 ) to separate (5658 ) us from the love of God , which is in Christ Jesus our Lord .
