* But speak (5720 ) thou the things which become (5719 ) sound (5723 ) doctrine : * That the aged men be (5750 ) sober , grave , temperate , sound (5723 ) in faith , in charity , in patience . * The aged women likewise , that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness , not false accusers , not given (5772 ) to much wine , teachers of good things ; * That they may teach the young women to be (5750 ) sober (5725 ), to love their husbands , to love their children , * To be discreet , chaste , keepers at home , good , obedient (5746 ) to their own husbands , that the word of God be not blasphemed (5747 ). * Young men likewise exhort (5720 ) to be sober minded (5721 ). * In all things shewing (5734 ) thyself a pattern of good works : in doctrine shewing uncorruptness , gravity , sincerity , * Sound speech , that cannot be condemned ; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed (5652 ), having (5723 ) no evil thing to say (5721 ) of you . * Exhort servants to be obedient (5733 ) unto their own masters , and to (5750 ) please them well in all things ; not answering again (5723 ); * Not purloining (5734 ), but shewing (5734 ) all good fidelity ; that they may adorn (5725 ) the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things . * For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared (5648 ) to all men , * Teaching (5723 ) us that , denying (5666 ) ungodliness and worldly lusts , we should live (5661 ) soberly , righteously , and godly , in this present world ; * Looking for (5740 ) that blessed hope , and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ ; * Who gave (5656 ) himself for us , that he might redeem (5672 ) us from all iniquity , and purify (5661 ) unto himself a peculiar people , zealous of good works . * These things speak (5720 ), and exhort (5720 ), and rebuke (5720 ) with all authority . Let no man despise (5720 ) thee .
