Ideas and progress updating pBiblx to v.3

From its inception early 2008, pBiblx has only gone through two major complete revisions that have broken previous functionalities. I consider this the best time to engage in a third attempt. By living in pBiblx2 myself for this distance, I've come to learn what works well in it and what does not. I've worked to improve it in these identifiable areas without breaking it, and because of this it has taken on a lot of bulk and workarounds that have become unmanageable problems in of sorts themselves. It's time.

This also at a time where no one else that I am aware of is actively using it. A break will not effect others. Finally fixing these issues may well increase its adoption on other sites, I do hope. I've also have some initial vision as to where it needs to go in order to be more useful and more visionary.

I will use the system as I am upgrading it to remind/track myself and keep you advised on the changes as they are happening. THis work won't read as an article however, I'm finding easier to keep this major upgrade organized by keeping them as comment threads.
