Author: Randy PrittspBiblx is a web based Content Management System (CMS) writen as a PERL CGI. It has been designed specifically for Christian as its primary focus is bible and bible content and commentary. It has been tested and implemented on UNIX, but theoretically could be put onto other OS's being PERL dependent only (UNTESTED to my knowledge). Its previous development coincided with the development of a Linux based self contained freely distributed PuppyLinuxderivative called ShepherdPupLinux. SHepherdPupLinux was focused upon making the pBiblx system ready to roll out on private and production level self hosted Christian websites. In other words pBiblx is intended to be a distributed community of separate autonomous Christian content management systems.
At the moment the ShepherdPupLinuxpart of this has been put on hold. Pbiblx is available from the developer direct for the time being.

Test: Dynamic IP registered seed servers:
This is an experimental feature (not for permanent production sites). Many potential pBiblx users may not have a static IP address or a official domain name. Perhaps it is a small personal pBiblx server with just some personal notes that you want to get to outside your home while on vacation; and official domain name and static address would be overkill. Maybe your wanting a share a note you have with a friend for a day and then close your firewall back up. This feature allows a pBiblx seed site to register its IP here on our server. Once completed the idea is that one could use HTTP://OUR_URL/YOURSEEDNAME.HTML and be forwarded to you present dynamic IP address temporarily.
